Molecular insight. Industrial potential.

We’re building a platform to reveal molecular changes inside industrial processes. Our first application: diacetyl monitoring in fermentation.

Research-led

Built on more than 15 years of research in infrared upconversion spectroscopy.

Built for industry

Designed for inline use in real production environments.

Starting with fermentation

Diacetyl monitoring first — a high-value use case with broader potential.

Technology

From a molecular fingerprint to meaningful insight.

  1. 01

    Molecular absorption

Mid-infrared light passes through the sample. Target molecules absorb at unique wavelengths, creating a distinctive fingerprint.

  2. 02

    Optical upconversion

A nonlinear crystal shifts the mid-infrared signal to near-infrared, where standard detectors can read it.

  3. 03

    Data interpretation

A spectrometer captures the signal and chemometrics converts the spectrum into a concentration reading.
